Pink or black? Which do you like?

Exhibitions and art events in Tokyo are absolutely the best.

These are some pictures I took few weeks ago at KaiKai Kiki Gallery during a special performance about 6Hearts Princess animation project by Takashi Murakami. My love.

6Hearts Princess was first previewed at "Murakami Versailles", the solo exhibition of Murakami at Chateau de Versailles, in 2010.
The animation project is a typical japanese Majokko. There is the good heroin with her pink outfit and fluffy double ponytails (ok... she really looks like Chibiusa) and the enemy in a black/purple outfit. They both have their magical pet and their magical goods. Then there is "the crew", I mean  "the others", the main character's friends with their colorful battle uniforms according with the japanese majokko tradition.

Last Christmas the two main characters of 6HP became the testimonials for the special Shu Uemura Christmas collection themed on the "dual beauty". Pink princess and Black Princess represented the double sides of a woman. Nice versus Naughty. Innocent versus Sexy. Ok maybe in a woman there is a bit more but...Ehy! I'm talking about Japan! What did you expect?

This is the video realized by Murakami for the collaboration with the famous make up brand.

Pink or black?

The performance was a kind of Sailor Moon live action episode or, in other words, one of the most trash and meaningless things I've ever seen in my life. Much worse than "Versailles no bara" movie.
At the same time I can't really say I had a bad time. I mean... ok It was horrible, but so horrible that I liked it.

When I went to my boyfriend's house his mom (Akemi chan lots of love for you) asked me for a little sketch. The only things she gave me were a couple of crayons so, even if I usually prefer ink and watercolors, I had to content with a little.

At least I was so satisfied that, as soon as I came back to Tokyo, I went to Sekaido (best shop for painting stuff) to get some pastel tone crayons

This is the result...

Lucy in the sky with bunnies

...and The little mermaid.
I don't really know if the rumors about Sofia Coppola's new movie are true but...

Hearty nipples
I need more free time.

Macoto, flowers prints and Beverly Hills 90210 ♡

Last week I was walking around Shibuya when I saw this...

... I love japanese vintage illustrators so, obviously, I couldn't miss a Macoto's exhibition ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

As usual I couldn't take any pictures and, even if I tried my best to break the rules, this is the only one I could take before the staff run against me saying the word japanese people love the most."DAME!" (a kind of "it's forbidden" or something...)

Everything was so kirakira *(*´∀`*)☆

Influenced by all that girliness, flowers and, probably, by the only thing which makes me feel better while I'm trying to memorize all those kanji, aka a complete rewatch of Beverly Hills 90210, I figured out it was time to waste some money.

That top makes me feel so Kelly Taylor.
I think I need a phone with a cord to call the bestfriend of my teens and  hug a huge plush while we talk about the boy we like. Pity that 6 years ago I decided our relationship has ended forever. ♡

I love the fact in Japan there are exhibitions about everything can become cute (and useless) merchandise. I mean... I can't even understand if I prefer the exhibition or the gift shop AFTER the exhibition.

Lots of love and flowers to everyone ♡

Pinku all around ♡

In this period I took too many pictures, I didn't have time to write a decent post and my laziness has just won against my serious purpose to write something every week.
This is my "best of" of japanese cherry blossom
